A visual accompaniment for Partial Facsimile on their MEDIA OS 5.1 tour.
The group needed additional intermissions during the performances for brief audience engagements focusing on mental health issues. They wanted the intermissions to signify the neural activity of the brain as we increasingly engage and depend upon technology. Supporting the concept of over stimulated connectivity and technology, the brain is visualized as an evolving organic network, that sparks fibrous wires to form a heart. Synapse is intended to demonstrate equality in both mental and physical health.
