An experimental deconstruction of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime. One of the most inspirational animated series, Neon genesis breaks away from traditional mech franchises by exploring psychological impact and consolidating heavy religious themes. Using sequences of Tokyo-3 rising from the ground to drive sub-displacement, complex patterns emerge, as recognition to the "artificial evolution" concepts that Seele present with the Human Instrumentality Project, a part of the show that felt unexplored and open to interpretation. Taking its name from the character Asuka Langley Soryu, a Soryu is also an elite class of Japanese submarine.
