Design / motion
Working with Studio Moross we created the house looks for the MTV European Music Awards in Seville. The set needed to tie in with the broadcast branding but also feel unique for each of the awards, there were 8 looks in total with variations of typography for award categories and winners.
Designing for such unusual screens was a great opprotunity and technical challenge. The grid that wraps around the wall and ceiling was also driven by video we created, playback through D3 along with the Award doors and surrounding led’s in the area.
Working on site in the lead up to the show gave us a good understanding of the scale and space we were working with, because of the stage size we decided to tone down the pace of the motion to be less distracting and create a more ambient vibe… until winners are announced!
